Monitoring early grade reading at St. Michael. Good work being done by the P1 teacher. Children can read words in local language.
Enrolment is about 600.
Major challenge in the school is about the nearby gold mines where children miss school to go for mining and earn some income.
Latrines are still a challenge. The school has no permanent structures. All teachers, pupils (girls and boys) use the same structure. These are not in good condition especially for the girls.
